We invite you to rally your colleagues, clients and personnel departments for the 25th edition of the 947 Ride Joburg Road, taking place on Sunday, 21 November 2021. It’s the same adrenaline-pumping challenge, but with exciting changes in the mix.
The start and finish of 947 Ride Joburg Road will be at the FNB Stadium, Johannesburg – a large venue that offers the possibility for growth and expansion over the next few years. A fresh, slightly longer route of 97 km showcases the city of Joburg like never before. We’re shutting down some of the busiest roads on the continent to offer cyclists of all abilities a chance to crush fitness goals in safety.
The Company Team category presents opportunities to utilise the 947 Ride Joburg as a wellness day, a team-building adventure, a powerful source of corporate exposure, and a fundraiser for a charity through the Ride for a Purpose platform.
The 947 Ride Joburg also offers your organisation an opportunity to not only enter a corporate team, but extended families too!
And if riding on the road is not your cup of tea, experience the freedom of nature right in the middle of the Urban Joburg Jungle with the 947 Ride Joburg Kids and MTB rides. These events are held on 13 November 2021 and 14 November 2021 respectively at the flamboyant Steyn City.
Team Entries close 30 September 2021. However, should participation numbers be limited to comply with Covid-regulations – entries will be considered on a first-in; last-out basis. Entrants who entered first will receive preference. So don’t delay!
The organisers, Faces Ride Joburg, guarantees entrants a 100% refund should the event be cancelled due to Covid or should numbers be reduced to comply with regulations.
